Toby’s Grandfather, Martin, raised an amazing £5,293 to conduct research at the hospital which tried so hard to save Toby’s life. He cycled from Land’s End to John o’ Groats and during the ride climbed the highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland.  The ride started on 16th August 2017, the first anniversary of Toby’s birth. It took Martin 6 days to reach Snowdon, then he continued to the English Lake District where he climbed Scafell Pike and finally he rode on to Scotland, climbing Ben Nevis and finishing at the northern tip of mainland UK after about 20 days in total. All of the funds raised will be used to fund new research to find better cures for the rarest types of cancer.
