Nathan and Matt (guided by Nathan’s Dad and his friend Bob) are attempting to complete one of the hardest and most technically challenging ridge traverses in the UK, the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
This is 12km of continuous scrambling with over 4000m (13,000 feet) of ascent and descent. Concentration is needed on every step of the narrow crest, particularly during several technical rock climbs that require physical and mental effort. Completing the route in ideal weather conditions normally takes around 20 hours. Nathan and Matt will bivouac overnight in the mountains to give them the best possible chance of completing the whole route in less than 24 hours
